Overview

We created this archive to offer our global fans easy access to Libelante's online resources. In this archive, you can trace the birth of Libelante as they rose to the top through a series of intense competition; listen to their music; enjoy their hilarious chats; and watch their TV shows, cover songs, and behind-the-scenes clips.
We also provided translated lyrics of their original music and added explanations and summaries to some of their clips in other languages.

Kindly note that the first three categories, Home, Discography, and Phantom Singer, are in different languages, while the other three categories, TV Shows, Cover Songs, and Others, are only in English.
As Libelante continues to grow as global artists, we will be updating the contents of this archive.

Libelante is a male crossover quartet with Kim Ji Hoon (a baritone and musical actor), Jin Won (a tenor), Jung Seung Won (a tenor), and Roh Hyun Woo (a baritone).
They debuted on June 2, 2023, as the winners of the Phantom Singer Season 4.
The group name "Libelante" is derived from combination of Libertà (liberty) and Brillante (brilliant), which means "We will cross over any genres freely." and "We will make one another shine brightly."
The combination of their vocal parts (two tenors, one bass-baritone, one baritone and musical singer) is as authentic as any classical male quartet, but their vocal range is not limited to their voice parts.
All four members sing the lowest and highest notes, freely crossing over their original vocal parts. Thus, they are utterly worth their name, "Libelante."
As the youngest winners of Phantom Singer across all four seasons, they are attracting many fans with their musical talent, youthful energy, good looks, and humor. As columnist Jung Deok Hyun said recently, "The crossover idols are born."
With only six months into their debut, they have already been invited to many TV shows and performed on various stages.
One judge said in Phantom Singer, "They can do anything." And they have proved it in such a short period of time.

Since he debuted in 2020, he performed in many musicals as an ensemble and has played many leading roles in The Wedding Player, Midnight: Actor Musician, First Love, Brahms, Laundry, Dice, and Wilde Gray. He won the Grand Prize in the College and General Division of DIMF Musical Star Award in 2019. In 2020, he appeared in tvN’s Double Casting, an audition TV program for musical rookies, and made it to the top 6 as the youngest contestant.

Jin Won

He was a university student when debuted as Libelante.
In 2019, Jin Won received the second prize in the College Division of Chae Dong Sun Music Contest. During his military service, he sang the national anthem of Korea at the repatriation ceremony of General Hong Beum Do. Impressed by his performance, Kondo Yukiko, a Japanese producer, invited him to an opening ceremony of the Asian TV Drama Conference and Concordia 20th Anniversary Concert in 2023.

Jung Seung Won

He was a university student when debuted as Libelante.
From an early age, he followed the path of an elite classical vocalist. He is a former Kumho Young Artist, a highly prestigious and selective art education program.

Jung Seung Won won first place in the 2013 Music Chunchu Concour’s Junior Division, and third place in the 2015 Korea Voice Competition. In 2023, he received the Popera Grand Prize at the 15th Seoul Success Awards.

Roh Hyun Woo

He was a university student when debuted as Libelante.

He won first place in the Korea Voice Competition in 2017. In 2018, he won third place and a special prize at the Piero Cappuccilli International Competition in Italy, and in 2019, he received a special prize at the Flaviano Labo. In 2020, he was awarded the Young Artist Special Award at the Tenor Viñas International Competition in Spain. In 2022, he received a special prize at the Giulio Neri International Competition.
